Played for like an hour yesterday then it went to poop; but i gotta say so far that it's awesome to this point. The gameplay and ingame maps..etc feel really refined.

No prone though which was odd; but so far really good cept for the poopy server/pb/whatever thing.

I have had major connection issues.... did some stuff before I left and it seemed to work for the moment.

For those who have problems, make sure bc2 beta is uninstalled and update your punkbuster

http://www.evenbalance.com/index.php?page=pbsetup.php

If your not having connection problems... don't worry about this, don't want to screw it up

Not in front of my home comp, but bc2 is installed in steam

something like
Program Files-steam-steamapps-Common-battlefield bc2

Merc, did you buy it for the comp or the ps3?

My initial thoughts about it were that it sucks, but I'm used to playing mw2. Seems like someone has a parachute on your back in this game just not as smooth. I'm sure I'll get used to it. I absolutly hate having to hold the damn crouch button down to stay down. Don't care much about not being able to go prone but the crouch thing sucks. I've read they are gonna change the crouch so you don't have to hold it. I've only gotten to play a few times because of the server issues so I hope it gets better

The one im using now is kalami

I made another one called SupaFly-TNT1 cus some dbag apparently used my original name :(

And waz; the connection issues should be fixed now for everyone; i had the same thing you describe (Wasn't playable at all online until last night for me) until late last night but i played about an hour with no issues at all.

Also got a 5770 card and cranked up the graphics; i was almost caught standing and staring (Considering the last graphically awesome game i could crank was COD2)

Damn,
would have been nice to hook up with you in game again. You could probably put together a new system for less than $600 if you have a copy of windows laying around.

Just got this today and am installing for PC!!!!!! OMFG I played it last night on ps3 at a friends and It was awesome. I think I'm going to end up playing this more than COD:MW2. Game-play was way cooler with vehicles, felt more tactical, and I didn't have a bunch of turds being a-holes the whole time. People were actually helping each other and working together as opposed to complete solo play on pub MW2 servers. This game is killer in my opinion. I can't wait to get online and play it for PC in just a little bit here. I'll re-post with my user-name and stuff once I've got it all set up. Can't wait to play with my AR brethren again, I've missed you guys :)

The only way I'm gonna keep playin this is if you all keep playin it. Need to hook up. I can't stand it for too long if I'm by myself.

Seems to be a glitch with seeing your friends. Don't know what it is, but when skull was on, it doesn't show him or me in the friends tab that either of us is online. But, skullie got into game and I could still hit the arrow by his name and get into the server he was in even though it didn't show he was on.

dunno

Merc is playing it on PS3.

It's not running the smoothest on my computer right now and I'm not sure if it's my internet connection or computer. I've got the graphics set to medium after trying it on high and it didn't seem to make much of a difference. It takes forever to load into maps. Also, when I refresh the server list, the pings don't show up so I have no idea if the server I'm connecting to is good or bad. Is this a glitch that anyone else is experiencing? Any tips on how I can fix this stuff? Waz I'll add you as a friend today. Are you guys using vent at all? I've jumped in there the last couple times of played and didn't see anyone in it.

I will be out of pocket for the next 6wks or so, so a friend will be playing as me most of the time as he is seeing if he wants to buy the game and I don't have time to play right now anyway. :bigsmurf:

Can anyone tell me how to make the turret move faster in a tank? I've looked everywhere in the control settings for a turret sensitivity of some sort and found nothing. It's driving me nuts because I can't effectively shoot anything when the turret takes 3 days to turn in any direction...

go get a Logitech G5 or someother mouse that has on the fly sensetivity adjustment. The work fantastically.

saw, i've got you accepted on my list. I was on last night and died a lot with bryan. I definitely need more people in game because I don't like playing this too much. How I like to play the game doesn't work too well.

Anyway... I'll be on from time to time and make sure that I am in vent when i do.

Go to london and come back and the game is all fuxored up! :(

I played like 20 minutes when i got back like a day ago and the server browser = poop and in game good lord the damn recon/snipers it's almost unplayable.

Maybe as I level up it'll get bearable, but how can you have 6 snipers on a team of 16 people? WTF. Spawn sniped, spawn sniped.

Really all i really need is a reskinned BF1942, they don't have to change 1 single thing, just make it pretty and ill start having some damn fun again in these stupid console rips with douche bag kids only concerned about leveling up; it's a FPS not a MMO.
